Multisec Spreader Beam Powers Critical Flood Protection Project

Our trusted distributor, HLR – Heavy Lift Rental, recently played a key role in a vital flood protection project by supplying a Multisec Modular Spreader Beam. This challenging operation involved lifting and installing a 24-meter-long, 105-tonne contactor onto a mounting frame, requiring precise handling and reliable equipment.

To ensure the success of the lift, HLR provided not only the 110-tonne capacity, 10-meter spreader beam but also the necessary slings and load-handling devices. The spreader beam facilitated a safe and straight pull between the crane hooks and the load, ensuring stability and reducing stress on the equipment.

The setup included round slings and heavy-duty shackles designed to handle loads of up to 85 tonnes on both sides, providing a secure and efficient lifting solution. This project highlights the strength and reliability of Multisec Modular Spreader Beams in demanding applications.
