Multisec Lifting Beams & Spreader Beams

The Industry-Leading Solutions for Heavy Lifting

Our MultiSec Lifting Beams and Spreader Beams are meticulously designed and tested to fully comply with Eurocodes and DNV standards where applicable. Each beam undergoes rigorous proof load testing, typically in accordance with BS EN 13155 or DNV-ST-0378 standards

MultiSec beams have been deployed globally for projects ranging from lifting vessels in ports to installing offshore wind turbine monopiles weighing up to 1600 tonnes. Our advanced design and testing capabilities position us as industry leaders, providing customers with fully tailored, fit-for-purpose beams that come with complete traceability and certification.

Whether you’re lifting oversized equipment in a confined space or managing complex loads with uneven weight distribution, we offer a proven solution backed by years of experience and a commitment to safety.

Multisec Lifting Beams are essential for handling heavy loads in conditions where space is tight or where the load itself requires additional stability. The primary function of a Lifting Beam is to provide a central point of attachment for a hoist or crane, while distributing the weight of the load across multiple points along the bottom of the beam.

Multisec Spreader Beams are designed for more complex lifting operations, especially when the load has an offset center of gravity or when additional stability is required. Unlike lifting beams, spreader beams use two slings attached at either end of the beam to lift the load. This configuration helps distribute the weight across a broader area, providing enhanced stability and control.

Do I Need a Lifting Beam or Spreader Beam?

The choice between a lifting beam or a spreader beam often depends on the specific requirements of the lift, including factors like load size, weight distribution, and available headroom. Both types of beams offer significant safety and efficiency benefits, but understanding their unique applications can ensure the right tool is used for the job.
